Frequently asked questions

How does this work?

In Wormle, you're scored by distance to the actual scoreworm.
If you guess the correct scoreworm, you'll have a distance of 0.0.

You don't have to know what the actual match is; all that matters is how close you get to the actual scoreworm.

Which matches are in play?

We have the data for most^ matches back to the start of 2012. Any match in this period can be guessed and could be a possible solution.

^Some matches are currently not with scoreworm data, so while these will appear in filter results, they won't be guessable.

When are new games released?

Each new game is released at midnight in Queensland time (2:00pm in your time zone).

What's a scoreworm?

Scoreworms are the result of plotting the margin of a match over time.

Where does the data come from?

All data is sourced using the fitzRoy package in R.
